The Peneda-Geres National Park is the only one in Portugal and presents arguments to be considered one of its greatest attractions - fauna, flora, breathtaking landscapes, mountain trails, lakes, ponds and natural spas, among others, that helped earning the title of World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO. It spans between three Portuguese districts: Braga, Viana do Castelo and Vila Real while bordering the spanish province of Galicia, further north.
